A reader left me a comment asking why the exit still as not open. I have wondered the same thing, driving up there every few days to see if it were open yet. I told my reader that I would call on Monday and see what I could find out.
When I opened the paper this morning and there was an editorial answering this question. It seems that Public Works had to reach an agreement with Nevada Power and that just happened this week. They are now saying it could be after Thanksgiving before the exit is open. The editorial can be read here.
