A Tree and a Friendship

This tree is a symbol of frienship

This tree is planted next door in my neighbors yard.  Neighbors yes, but so much more.  Over the years we have forged a very deep friendship.  When they uprooted from California and moved to Las Vegas they brought this beautiful Magnolia Tree with them.  It has grown big and strong in the back yard of their beautiful Sun City Summerlin home.

Well I am very sad because these people who have become very dear friends have sold their home and are no longer going to be  my neighbor.  I shall miss them.

The tree however will remain growing proudly in the spot it stands now.  So when I see it blooming or  blowing  gracefully in the breeze I can remember my friends.

  5. Chris,

Do they know that you wrote this? Because this is pretty neat…the story behind it, the feelings behind it…all of it.

  6. Hey, Chris. This is a great story. I’m a tree huggin’, wannabe gardner who also happens to love her neighbors! I hope the new owners soon become your friends.
